About Me

You’ll see a lot of therapist websites say they offer a “warm and affirming space where you feel seen and heard.” I say that too and I truly mean it. Creating that kind of space isn’t just a tagline; it’s a core value that guides how I show up, both as a therapist and as a human. Therapy should be a space where you can be your full self — messy, questioning, curious, hopeful — without needing to filter.

I’m a good fit for clients who are verbal processors and drawn to introspection but I’ll be right there to catch if that goes into rumination territory! If you’re looking for support for OCD, I bring advanced training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT). Together, we’ll create a therapy plan that fits your brain, your values, and your goals, whether that means slowing down and reflecting or moving into action.

I also support individuals navigating life transitions, perfectionism, and the lingering effects of guilt and shame. At the heart of my approach is self-compassion. I see it not as a fallback, but as a powerful tool for growth, especially for those who tend to be their own harshest critic.

My Approach

I view therapy as a collaborative process. We walk alongside each other, rather than me acting as the expert on your life. You may come to therapy for a few sessions to navigate a difficult season, or you may be seeking longer-term support for a chronic mental health condition. I tend to be more of a guide than a director. I’ll offer insight, education, and gentle nudges, but you get to decide where we focus and how quickly we move.

Advanced training

In addition to my licensure in the state of Ohio, I am also BTTI trained by the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF). Being BTTI-trained by the IOCDF signifies advanced, specialized training in evidence-based treatment for OCD. This intensive training equips clinicians with the tools and expertise to deliver high-quality, effective care of OCD.

Why Choose Me

As a solo practitioner, I offer personalized therapy, flexible scheduling, and a safe, supportive space for your mental health. Therapy with me isn’t about fixing you. It’s about building skills, confidence, and trust in yourself so you can live a life that feels grounded, even when anxiety and stress show up.

Other Fun Facts:

  • I’m married and we have two adorable hedgehogs, Hank & Frank. Yes, this is their “hedgeshot”.
  • Running has always been a special interest of mine. Today it’s less about pace and more about supporting my mental well-being.
  • I’m a hobby photographer and have an ongoing weekly streak since 2023 on the 52Frames platform. I believe it’s healing to have something just for yourself without any expectations and photography is that for me.
